Performing experience

  • 2009: attending the Musical Theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

  • 2009: Chosen to perform in the pilot of the new show The Voice Of Tomorrow, a search for the best in new musical theatre talent in the UK
  • Summer 2008: Awarded a grant from the BBC Performing Arts fund to cover private vocal and drama lessons. Began studying with Sam Kenyon and Stuart Barr (vocal) and Nigel Richards (drama)

  • 2007-2008: Series of opera concerts in the Fentener van Vlissingen Zaal, Utrecht while studying opera full-time at the Utrecht Conservatoire
  • Spring 2007: Concert to raise funds for Young Singing Talent, at the Staetshuys Amsterdam
  • Spring 2007: Produced, directed and performed in ‘I love you, you’re perfect, now change’, in The Garage Theatre Workshop, London
  • Winter 2006: Lead role of Jekyll & Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde the Musical, in the Bloomsbury Theatre, London
  • Summer 2006: Vocal coach and performer in UCLU musical society musical review show ‘AtoZ’, in The Garage Theatre Workshop, London
  • Summer 2005: Finished lessons with David Pollard at the Guildhall and began lessons with Henny Diemer at the Utrecht Conservatoire
  • Spring 2005: Produced, directed and performed in ‘Louder than Words’, a musical review show put on to raise money for a severely under-equipped hospital in Ghana’s capital Accra
  • Winter 2004: Sky Masterson in UCLU musical production of ‘Guys and Dolls’ performed in the Bloomsbury Theatre, London
  • Summer 2004: Superintendent Budd in Bedfordshire Youth Opera production of ‘Albert Herring’
  • Summer 2004: Jack in UCLU musical society production of ‘Into the Woods’, in The Garage Theatre Workshop, London
  • Spring 2004: Ensemble in Matilda the Musical, in The Garage Theatre Workshop, London
  • Winter 2003: Clifford Bradshaw in University College London Union (UCLU) musical society production of ‘Cabaret’, performed in the Bloomsbury Theatre, London
  • Autumn 2003: Began singing lessons with David Pollard at the Guildhall School for Music and Drama, London
  • Spring 2003: Greylag in OYMT production of ‘Honk’

  • Spring 2003: Grade 8 Singing with distinction
  • Winter 2002: Javert in the European School production of ‘Les Miserables’
  • Spring 2002: King Charles in the Oxfordshire Youth Music Theatre (OYMT) production of ‘Pippin’, performed in The Playhouse, Oxford

  • Spring 2002: Achieved Grade 8 Trumpet with distinction

  • 2001 – 2003: Member of Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestra, playing trumpet and viola

  • Winter 2001: Achieved Grade 8 Viola
  • Winter 2000: Walter De Courcey in the European School production of ‘Chess’
